This page contains a schematic for SONIC WAVE, a pitch theremin created by I.W. Turner. Additionally, you may find information on the components used and other relevant information. This was the infamous theremin used by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin.
Above is the switchless version of the Sonic Wave schematic which utilizes a stereo jack for the on-off switch. Below, you may find the version more consistent with the original Sonic Wave.

UPDATE (8/4/2025): Video added for building a Sonic Wave theremin clone! Please see the embedded video on this page titled "Building a Sonic Wave Theremine Clone".
UPDATE (8/2/2025): Polished up the schematic and recently tested it. I'll be providing a video momentarily!
UPDATE (5/12/2024): I wired up a Sonic Wave clone using the previously uploaded schematic and found that it didn't work right off the bat. Puzzled, I triple checked all my connections and couldn't get it to function properly. Deviating from the original schematic, I discovered that I could get the clone to work with a different configuration for the IFT coil pins. Investigating the issue, I discovered that the pin 2 on both IFT coils for the original SONIC WAVE had no continuity to pins 1 and 3 (from here , it appears like it may be a BM Connection).
